How to get to NCKU?

(A) Driving Directions

From the North

Google map direction (Dawan Interchange → ISGN-8 Venue)

1. Take National Freeway No.1 (Sun Yat-sen Freeway) southbound.
2. Get off at Dawan Interchange and head south toward Gaosu 2nd Street.
3. Turn right onto Fuxing Road, and travel down it.
4. Make a left turn at Linsen Road.
5. Turn right at University Road and reach Kuang-Fu Campus, NCKU.

From the South

Google map direction (Rende Interchange → ISGN-8 Venue)

1. Take National Freeway No.1 (Sun Yat-sen Freeway) northbound.
2. Get off at Rende Interchange and turn left to westbound Zhongshan Road.
3. Travel on Zhongshan Road, and make a right turn at Sec. 2, Linsen Road.
4. Turn left at University Road and reach Kuang-Fu Campus, NCKU.

(B) Public Transportation

From Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA)

Metro Taipei (Taipei MRT) / Route Map

1. Take the Taipei MRT【Wenhu Line (Brown Line)】from Songshan Airport Station (BR13) to Zhongxiao Fuxing Station (BR10).
2. Transfer to【Bannan Line (Blue Line)】at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station(BL15) to go to Taipei Main Station (BL12).
3. After arrival, please follow the THSR symbol to get to THSR Taipei Station.
4. Take the THSR train from THSR Taipei Station to THSR Tainan Station, which takes about 110 minutes.

From Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE)

Taoyuan Airport MRT / Route Map

1. Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT from Airport Terminal 1 Station (A12) or Airport Terminal 2 Station (A13) to Taoyuan HSR Station (A18), which takes about 20 minutes.
2. After arrival, please follow the THSR symbol to get to THSR Taoyuan Station.
3. Take the THSR train from THSR Taoyuan Station to THSR Tainan Station, which takes about 90 minutes.

From Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH)

Kaohsiung MRT / Route Map

1. Take the Kaohsiung MRT from Kaohsiung International Airport Station (R4) to Kaohsiung Main Station (R11) for TRA Train or Zuoying Station (R16) for THSR.

• Take the TRA train from Kaohsiung Main Station to TRA Tainan Station, which usually takes about 35 minutes on express trains.
• Take the THSR train from THSR Zuoying Station to THSR Tainan Station, and the traveling time is about 15 minutes.

Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR)

1. Take Taiwan High Speed Rail to THSR Tainan Station.
2. Transfer to TRA Shalun line to TRA Tainan station, which takes about 30 minutes.
3. From the rear exit of TRA Tainan station, walk along University Road for about 5 minutes to Kuang-Fu Campus, NCKU.

• You can also take a taxi to the venue after you arrive at THSR Tainan Station.
• It takes 25-30 minutes from THSR Tainan Station to ISGN-8 Venue and the fare is around NT$350-NT$400.
• You can show the Taxi driver the school name【國立成功大學 光復校區 國際會議廳】 in Chinese to save you some hassles.

Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA)

1. Take the TRA Train to TRA Tainan Station.
2. From the rear exit of Tainan station, walk along University Road for about 5 minutes to Kuang-Fu Campus, NCKU.
